The Last Supper of Victor Feguer

Father, forgive me for I have sinned
I have murdered a man or so it seemed
Why I did it, no one has to know
The truth shall haunt me in hell where I go

Father, give me my last rites
Death has been on countdown the past ten nights
Come dawn, when darkness kisses the light
To the gallows I'll go without a fight

Before I depart, one last meal, you say?
A single black olive with its stone if I may
And in my grave, bury it along with me
May it blossom into a lovely tree

Let this tree be a symbol of my peace
To make these inhumane actions cease
Don't mourn, don't weep; I have forgiven thee
But pray no one follows after me

supper,  victor.

I can still smell blood on the deck, of the slave ship
As the ship moves under my feet, watch as the deckhands wash the deck
With vinegar, which makes everyone gasp for air
I am but one of two, slave children aboard.
Before we set sail, men are separated from children and women
They make us take our clothes off, and while standing there naked
Our mouths are opened, as we jump up and down, arms pinched,
Before the hot iron of branding, cooks our flesh
But this happens, only to the chosen ones
Initials of our master, burned on our hips
The first thing I lost was freedom. the second, was equality.
Each day, of our existence, we are taught, to fear them
Caucasians of the colonies, born into humanity, and raised to be
Inheritors of society, not beasts of it, like us
I've learned, that one man's delusion, is another man's strong faith
Male slaves are shackled, and take off between decks
Their loud cries, can be heard by us clearly, fro the hold below
The women, are placed in another part, of the ship
Some had only sixteen inches of space to lie on
Which is the reason, the rolling waves of the sea I want to welcome
Me in sweet wet embrace

I was born in a time when life made more sense
People were not worried how they would pay the rent
We expected change of our elected ones
But not much change did come
I was born not far from a river one running wild and free
Keep wondering why certain dreams inside keep dying on me
We expected change of our elected ones
But change did not surely come
I see people go to the movies whenever in town
But if you don't have any money they won't let you hang around
When my needy hand is out to someone
Passing on the street heads remain with eyes ahead
They want you to fall down on your knees
Living is sometimes not easy and lack makes a grown man cry
Guess I'll have the final answer to all my questions
In that bright city in the sky

Have a little faith pass it all around as you go,
Hand out a smile it will make someone's day just so.
Don't walk around with knifes of hate in your eyes.
Do a deed of kindness for a stranger it will be a big surprise
Have a little faith in your fellow man. Change each bad habit
And attitude dig down deep inside people. I know that you can
Stop waiting turn your own world upside down
Start out with love it really works better than a face with
A daily frown just have a little faith

On And On Love Affair By Victor Tripp

Seems we have an on and off love affair
One minute you love me and the next you don't care
I'm kind of sick and tired of this
We both know only to well that it will destroy our wedded bliss
Girl don't let it cause your feelings inside nap
Come over here and sit on my lap
Put up a white flap and let me hold you my dear
And show in demonstration how much I care
And let us stop right now
This on and off love affair
