Battle Wounds

This is not a critique
It is not an attack
But if you treat each word as a bullet
Then you are bound to bleed

battle,  wounds.

Battle Time In Me

Behold! My sorrow storms straight through daylight.
And not on the last stroke of midnight, when demons sleep.
To entangle me with its invisible ropes, ropes tugging me tight.
Twisted, Swooned, crushed, haemorrhaging deep.

Labyrinth of shame, heralding my doom, looming ever close.
Earning waste with each second more, till sudden salvation.
That scarce shall cast upon my dim verse hugely verbose.
Inside this too stagnant a mind flows nothing but indignation.

Malaise made manifest with the profusrness of a poet's pain,
Entitled as imbalanced brain, a fresh sign of insanity.
Idle hours thrown away like confetti and time spent in vain
Narrow words written by young hands but a spirit of mundanity.

Morbid fascinations of mine with this lack of hope.
End so soon as I leave this world, unable to cope.

Every battle I've fought

Every battle I've fought,
You've been by my side.
Every time I've cried,
You've been there to wipe my eyes.

I know I could never love you
As much as you love me.
I know I could never deserve you
No matter how perfect I try to be.

I'm stubborn, I know.
I can be difficult, I know,
But nothing means more to me
Than the love you always show.

I never knew true love
Until you walked into my life.
These emotions, this inner strength,
Makes me feel like I can face any kind of strife.

Baby what I'm trying to tell you,
Is how much I love you,
How much I care,
How much I miss you when you're not there.

Soon this distance will be gone.
The pain of missing you will be no more.
I'll forever live in your arms,
As long as I'm there,
I'll face no harm.

Me and you will soon be one,
Our hearts together.
Nothing will be able to break us apart,
And I'll remain yours forever.

Battle Doom

Battle Doom, Battle Doom, In Such A Warm
Shine Bright On The Top Of The Perfect Moon
Between The Sky, And the Angels Room
Sitting Under The Perfect Storm, -Under My Rain-
Taking A Nap Between The Dark And Wishing Holes
All The Hope To Feel It Gone, All The Hope Stays Dry
When You Feel That Pains Comes, Then Feel My Cry
Every Words I Wrote, And Every Poem On My Walls

Under The Perfect Moon, The Day To Feel The Doom
Under That Perfect Rain, I Had A Broken Veins
My Heart Still Beats For You, Never Give Up On You
My Heart Still Beats For You, Never Give Up On You

On That Perfect Moon Stones
Looking To Heal My Wounds
My Heart Feel Your Pain
How Could You Let It Win!
Feeling Hell And Paradise
Strange Feeling With His Big Price
Is It A Curse! , Or Was Your Right!
How Would You Be Furious, Let Me Me Hold You Tight

Under The Perfect Moon, The Day To Feel The Doom
Under That Perfect Rain, I Had A Broken Veins
My Heart Still Beats For You, Never Give Up On You
My Heart Still Beats For You, Never Give Up On You

I Feel That Pain On You, Why You Don't Feel Me
Everyday I'm Burning, Why You Don't Fix It For Me
When The Hustle And The Bustle
In One Day Comes And Goes By
I Will Never Lose That Battle
Never Lose Your Love, Never Lose The Way
Even If I'm Dying, Won't Lay You Down
Even If I Lose My Breath, Will keep Your Crown

Under The Perfect Moon, The Day To Feel The Doom
Under That Perfect Rain, I Had A Broken Veins
My Heart Still Beats For You, Never Give Up On You
My Heart Still Beats For You, Never Give Up On You

Elements Of Ages Battle Onwards

And so the elements did wage bloodshed
Upon the realms, and the natural world bled
In numbers. Obsidian did dredge seeping
Upon natures frail innocence. And weeping
In sorrow as life was entombed beneath.
Its tears of ash sealed eternally underneath.

Cinders were bathed in heavens truthful tears
As the each contended with elemental affairs.
Oak did lumber forward to entangle all within
Roots, as the heavens screamed on soils sin.
Wood did splinter, shards impaling friend
And foe, collateral damage as anarchy did descend.

The earth bellowed as the onslaught of force
Did disjoin the soil. A champion would endorse
The others right of battle, blades did clash
As such impacts did render all near by to ash.
Brimstone against the clarity of diamond shards
As no ground was won as blows befell within yards.

Fighting still mummers as elements do now crusade
In natural form. Allegiances do switch others made,
Scars still do heal even though such a long time ago,
When lightning strikes a oak, know they are still foe.

The prophet and suzi quatro battle flaming tongues of fire

Surely there was fire in that place
Long dragon tongues of flame
Tasting everything in sight
Leaving it burning cinders
Incredible heat wafted from
The prophet
Sweat bullets dripped then burst
Covering his face
Blanketing his broad shoulders
With salt liquid warmth
Every eye in the arena
Trained on him
No, they could not look away
They'd sold their souls
Happy with the bargain
Even if not quite
A fair exchange
He sang of proving one's devotion
Jethro Tull sings Aretha Franklin
The sweat made it work
And the flying tongues of fire
That set upon the heads of
Everyone in the building
Forced them to speak Hopelandic
So everyone could understand
So no one understood
But the prophet
Who sang songs of desolation
Songs of depression
Songs of dislocation and isolation
Heavy weights to bear
And not a dry eye in the house
Smoke rose through those windows
Firemen never came
Crowley paid lackies to keep the doors
Locked from the outside
So
The prophets demise
Buried in several feet of ash and soot
His last words:
"So Be It"
Hundreds upon hundreds of his
Disciples
Mouths stuffed with debris
The tongues of fire ascended
When the last pulse tapered off into stillness
Suzi Quatro didn't break a sweat
Heavy axe slung laying 'gainst her shin
Bruised but hidden by spandex
Old men and dogs in the audience
Leering, craving different meats
Suzi doesn't notice
Fonzie's still a few years down the road
Suzi's got credentials
Winkler ain't weakened them yet
And with those credentials
She's gonna rock
She's gonna make 'em forget about
The prophet
And all the heavy shit he was always
Layin' on 'em
She said "Watch me play bass guitar"
And whipped out 50 classic bass riffs in a row
The people who had followed her in
Seemed impressed
But not nearly as amazed as they were
By the sight of countless tongues of flame
Descending upon their congregation
The end result being
Remarkably similar to the incident with
Flaming tongues and the prophet
What it all means
Nobody knows
Best not to interrupt good rock and roll shows

The Battle

Under the sycamore tree
Lay a secret as dark as could be
Thunder splits the sky
And fairy tears caress
The bluebells bending with the wind

Storm clouds rumble
Rushing in to blind out the light
On the horizon
There's a mystical fight
As wizards and warlocks
Cast their spells
Bringing out the hordes of hell

The sun and moon hide with fear
And banshees howl
To the song of the dark
Time to choose time to stand
Against the magical of the land

Run little children
Into the arms of love
Cast away the spells
With songs of memories
Where hearts are true and smiles
Are there gateway to
Forever more

The battle of love

Was
Fought
With lethal weapons
Like
Suspicion
Insecurity
And fear
And
Ended
In blood and tears.
