I have seen people change
Some for the better some for the worse
I have felt myself getting older, forming my own opinions
I have watched as friendships fade, some being my own

I have learned to try new things
I have stepped out of my comfort zone
Finding I like it better in there
I have laughed and cried not knowing why

I am finding things about myself I didn't even know
I have learned not to let my feelings show
I have been down and I have been up, finding that up is the better option
I have learned to worry less and smile more, I'm far too young to care

When I feel as if nothing could go right
I smile and thank God for another day
I have found music can make me feel better
And people can change you and shape you

I have had new people introduced into my life
Finding that there is always a story behind the eyes
I have had people share with me the secrets they try to hide
Leaving me speechless with a sad smile not knowing why

I felt pure and blissful joy dancing to my favorite music
I have found that the only answer is God
But that it's easier said than done
And that when you think you can handle it on your own, you need Him

Put your worries in his hands and you will find peace
To love yourself as much as God loves you
Because there is nothing He wants more
Take time, be free, be happy, just simply be

Strange that anyone's greatest fear could be change
When change is my greatest passion-
That sweet seduction, the thrill of challenge
And a bite of cold on the rim of the foreign champagne
Is only from the lipstick of this temptress, change
Who beckons me across ages- dances with me while I chase-
I never quite know her,
I never quite can- she is already halfway through space
Already half erased.

For some reasons.
Sometimes they get worse,
But sometimes they get better.
People change.

Life changed when we were born
We survived that first moment
Now we look for our home
But change never relieves it's torment

I saw eyes change green to blue
When skies changed blue to green
But storms should not make us afraid
Because love lives somewhere in between

I don't know why except that it is true

It is going to get hot, no it is getting cold. There will be massive flooding, no the polar caps have refroze. The science says this, no the science says that. We went 10 years without a major storm, how do you explain that? It is dry over here and it is wet over there. We have been told the sky is falling so many times, that no one really cares. So can you tell me what the weather is going to be today? At least give me that so I will know what to wear. Can you even tell me if the sun is out somewhere?

What has changed?
Are those the things?
Or else is it you?
If not is it me?

I really don't know
I want to burst out
Although I did it many times
I feel like to do it again and again

I wish I knew what has changed
And I wish I knew why too
