Dry Leaves in Autumn

Stepping onto leaves thinking of raking them later
Ocean of dry leaves posing the question to her
Where would you start, pretty miss of yonder
How would you finish it all before dinner

Oh I'd start way back in the south corner
Where the old cabin shed stores the rake
Thinks she of her afternoon's tedious chore
Wishing that she could set the piles on fire

Alas, it's dreaded to have outdoor fire
For fear it would burn down more than you desire
Back where I'm from that would be campfire
Here I'd better bag'em for easy transfer

Stepping onto leaves thinking of raking them later
Ocean of dry leaves posing the question to her
Where would you start, pretty miss of yonder
How would you finish it all before dinner

autumn,  dry,  leaves.

Red Dry Cuts

Alone at night,
Door is shut,
Giving myself,
These bloody cuts,
I wake up,
Blinds are shut,
Turn on the light,
Red dry cuts,
Cover them up,
Mask my pain,
Even though,
Tears fall like rain,
At nightfall,
I still have scars,
New cuts cover,
Where old ones are.

cuts,  dry,  red.

Just let me go to sleep with dry eyes

Just once?

I cry
Not for me, not for you
Not in sympathy nor in pity

I cry
At how easily I can put up a blank face
And not hide behind that fake smile

I cry
Because of the repetition and
Every thing I N B E T W E E N

I cry
The mental and physical, tearing me little by little
Each time, only to be scarred

I cry
Because this is making me stronger,
But still hurting, for each new second

dry,  teardrops.

Never To Dry

Blank verse
And blanker memories
My mind shouts
As feelings die
Blood drains
An artery is cut
Flowing with the seasons
ВЂ”stain never to dry

Not sad but not completely happy and that is the way the world is.

When it is raining so hard I can't see out the window and even if I walk into the rain and feel the water on my skins, still parts of me are arid.

Even when I have saliva and I'm hungry and thirsty and get water I do not feel completely wet.

I can't remember the last time I didn't feel dry. Arid. Devoid.

One time I went in the Pacific Ocean in Santa Barbara and as the waves were crashing and my hair was salt, I still felt needing to drink.

I don't know what will un-dry me.

Folliculitis (Dry Spell)

Poison and infect me with your fangs,
Get under my [skin ] with dirt
Roll around (with me) screaming
I'm rolling around dreaming

Is it this dry spell or is falling in love a pain
(let's fuck in the rain)
I can't feel your skin because you were never there
The blemishes of my skin don't

Embellishes a sense of trust and misty mystery

True noir

My feet only
Take me so

So drive me home one

Can please so

Turn me into dust

Cover me in dirt

I forget to shower

I'm not going anywhere

dry,  spell.

Dry Your Eyes

You've broken my heart,

You've made me cry,

I should be bitter (Shouldn't I? )

But I'm still alive,

And I've realized,

You'll never be less,

In my eyes.

When you ask,

Why you're still alive,

I'll answer with,

"Because you shouldn't die"

You'll change your ways,

But not for long,

I'll ask you why,

And you'll ramble on,

About how you feel,

And with a tear in my eye,

I'll say,

"Enough! Please!

Don't make me cry! "

You'll try to change,

Yet once again,

But you'll grab that bin,

Wanting to be thin,

You'll cry out,

Ana wins.

I'll come back,

I won't give up hope,

I know somehow,

Maybe, you'll cope,

Maybe, someday, you'll make it through,

Because I can't, without you.

I know you still have it,

That urge,

To grab the blade,

I know it's a feeling,

You'll never evade.

But if I could tell you one thing,

It would be,

Do not fear.

The Lord will help you,

And so will I,

So do not cry,

Dry your eyes.

dry,  eyes.
