Poems about earth

Crumbling earth

As everyone stepped over me
One by one
They kept walking by

You're the one
Who actually stumbled upon me
And picked me up out of the mud
To clean me up
And take me home

crumbling,  earth.

Of the Earth.

Leave me in a forest, under trees.
Let the moss envelope me and turn
My bones to marble.

Chisel me again into a better form.
Carve my eyes until they're clarified.
Manifestation as a guide.

Expedition, of earth's natural kitchen

Off to Fuga island
Next to the pamalican;
Then to Bucas grande
In the turquoise shallow end's.

Next, the Mactan
Wherein the grain's art caramel tan;
Then to the land of Coran
And Cebu, where the shore meet's the dawn.

Hiding safely, on Bohol isle
There art tarsier, and thing's of wild;
Diogo islet next, an uninhabitable place
Me and mine Reyna shalt explore it, with tribal paint on face.

Off, to the great Santa Cruz
Ourn feet, in the pink corraline sand;
Zamboanga City, the southern region
Of this Filipino relic strand...

Whilst next the Sangat
The western part of this expedition;
Whilst doing all this sight-seeing
It shalt be with mine Jane nagley, in earth's natural kitchen.

The Day The Earth Stood Still

The Earth cried that day
The day her mother fell to slumber
Ne'er again to wake
One resounding crash, boughs intertwined in perfect array
Her colors fading, losing their deep hues of umber
The world over shuddered with such a quake
For the fairies had forgotten their way

*Dance for the trees and not the tithes
Thus fell our Mother
The Tree of Life

day,  earth,  stood.

Hell on earth

"When I die I'll go to heaven because I've spent my time in hell"
But shush, perse your lips,
Don't you ever tell.

This life has been a wicked spell,
A curse in the mirror,
A twist in my head,

Miss fortune in my luck,
Bad luck in my heart,
For when my time comes
It is in fact hell
That I shall depart.

earth,  hell.

I Am Earth

She hears me when I dance in gratitude to her abundance.
My body is a temple formed from her clay and dust.
This is primal,
This howl at the Moon is from deep within.
With her,
I am one.
When I am Earth,
There is never a moment to be alone or scared.
I will dance to her heartbeat often,
Become again her daughter
So she knows my body when I return,
Become her,
Become Earth.
I will paint my body in her colors,
Amber skin and dusted feet,
I'll lay my scars down for the world to see.
In her dust I found the pathway in.
Center of spiral,
Radiating sun,
The arrow continues on forever.
Power is my blood,
I am initiated.

Roots growing, confiding
Men formed from the dust
Atop ATLAS, residing
Back broken and crushed

Beneath our steps, waiting
Unmoving throughout time
Plates sometimes colliding
Within GAIA'S design

Holding graves of deceased
Residence for men passed
Their life force is released
Peaceful souls are amassed

Softened by the sea
Immune to the flame
Underneath our feet
The earth will remain

Hell on earth

This world we live in,
It's not supposed to
Be that way.

Hell is supposed to come after.

Instead, we suffer through
Hell every day of our lives.

Heartbreak, lost friends, abuse.
The list goes on and on.

The very thought that
There is worse to come
Scares me out of my mind.

Is there truly another hell
Or do the "bad" people
Simply get sent back to
Earth as their punishment,
Forced to suffer life again?

That seems to be enough
Punishment to discourage

An eternity on earth
Forced to deal with evil
People and forces all over

earth,  hell.
