Poems about fade

A fade in the Tropic of Capricorn

In the middle of the pouring rain
A transition of tomorrow afar
A yesterday of thought amass
Sachets of packages that never came
In spite of the city lights that invited
Sprinkles of hurts and vengeful cries
Nothing will never ever be the same
When those rings that bonded broke
Into tiny pieces and vanished
A fade in the wider tropic of Capricorn
As the metal melted the subsolar point
The years fixed with utter uncertainty

At the middle of the park bench
Days dragged and caution submerged
Thoughts sat crucified on the foyer
The push and pull that plummeted
As a puppet, love manipulated faith itself
A configuration of unprimed frequencies
One that saw the seasons change and decay
So many days have gone within my dreams
The forgetful rigidness of the walking dead drift
I was one of those, with no life and breath
The noise drowned and madness froze
Crossing the confessions at a cathedral front

capricorn,  fade,  tropic.

Beginning to remember
How it had just started
Now it's gone
I was gone for two weeks
And the river is now frozen
It was an inchoate group
Laying the bricks
One by one
But they departed so soon
Like the ignoramus men on the sidewalks
Herding like sheep to make a living
Like some old fat lady sitting by her children
With a half filled cup of happiness
Afraid of losing herself
Like those water drops on cold winter mornings
Forcing life to stay torpid
Pragmatism collapsed into my veins and
I heard the cat door slam and immediately looked at the clock
It was dead

We will burst forth from the veins
Pouring red over gold and I will
Whisper the secrets of this life into
The cracks where our broken bones lie

The sun vanishes into your eyes
And warmth pours from every pore
Sparks ignite, shining; shatters -
I am only as real as this world
Will let me be

It is here in our hearts
Echoing off the walls
Once apart, twice entwined
Charmed, charmed, charmed.

Some Things Melt; Some Fade

You forgot where you loved me,

I forgot where I died.

The grass grows now awkward.

In that space where we tried.

fade,  melt,  things.

Fade...not fade

I saw you again today
And she looked like you do
I froze in the doorway
I couldn't step through
The feelings i had... stomach a knot
I loved you... i love you...
I thought i'd forgot.

I write your echoes
In chalk and not in etchings
A shield for my heart.

The Fade

I liked feelings better
Back when I was too young to really
Understand them.
I have become too familiar to their touch
That once used to run chills down my spine
And the ones I once impatiently awaited
Do not cut as sharp as they once did.
Perhaps its the memories
That paint a more vivid picture
For that I am not sure.

All Must Fade.

I put myself out there,
Only to be broken,
I'm treated like the nothing I've learned to be.

I Loved Once,
And even that faded away,
Any good must die,
Any smile must fade,
All laughter will slowly go,
And Once Again,
I will remain alone,
I will remain only slightly whole.
