When you went out of your way to fix my uniform one day
I was shocked
You never asked anything from me before
But you did that day
Despite the awkward card on valentines day
I wonder why you did that for me

Speeding things up
Because what's the point in slowing down?
Because what are the odds I'll end up with a beautiful little crown?
Or maybe be out of this small town?
The want to leave is there, but so is the want to stay.
Sometimes it leaves me breathless, not knowing what to say.
