I Have A Canoe That Can Beat the Girl with the Horse

Even if her horse is faster
My canoe is more determined
Even if she can dance beautifully without pain
I can listen to the words you say without a tear
Even if her horse is stronger
My canoe is more compassionate
Even if she can weave a great web of stories
I can tell you honestly the things that hurt

In the long run
My canoe wins

beat,  canoe,  girl,  horse.

About a girl: the end

Sometimes the trailer is better than the movie
Perhaps we'll recast for the sequel

And girl girl

And girl girl,
Watch yourself!
Those deceitful
Monsters will
Be sure sure
To steal.
Check over
The shoulders
Of the masked.
And lean your head
Only on the
Shoulders shoulders
Of men with trust
And honor between
Their lungs lungs.

Snap crackle pop girl (aka heartburner lady)

Your skin
Made me feel electric
Like a live wire
On fire
And burned
My heart.

aka,  crackle,  girl,  lady,  pop,  snap.

That girl

They announced on a Monday
In our schools old sweaty hall
That a girl I had math class with
Wasn't coming back at all
You could hear the silent questions
She was perfect wasn't she?
What demons was she fighting
That we were all too blind to see?
I sat in math that Monday
Beside her now abandoned desk
While our teacher warned us not to fail
Our fast approaching test
I remember she once whispered,
That she was envious of me
My parents knew the work it took
Just to get a simple 'B'
I wish I'd noticed earlier
Or had the decency to ask
Because her world must have been crumbling
Behind her "perfect student" mask
And I wonder if on that Sunday
It was the last thought in her brain
That the only A+ she could give
Was the blood type in her veins

I was a little naГЇve girl

I am frightened to hear about your twisted ways. Each occasion I am encircled by you and think to how naГЇve I had been. I pray every night for God to forgive you for your sins and to give me the strength to fix this fiasco of an equation which is yet to be solved. I had no idea your edges were rough to me, you were pure. I've got a volcanic eruption going on in my chest, wrapped with a soul that wants to be laid to rest filled with content. My illusion of who you were was shattered by the truth of who you are so hopefully, probably you will look me in the face, whisper those words of accuracy and veracity.

My Dearest Bestival Girl,

I think we both were trying to see,
Just how long we could live
Without each other.
The answer is two days, and
I feel I shall be supported when
I say, let's not do this again.

No matter how, why, where or when
I don't think my heart can stand the loss,
And my future husband better not give a
Toss about you joining us on our honeymoon
(You can bring your own man along to spoon)
For without you I'd surely swoon and stare
Longingly at the moon, leaving him
To enjoy the nuptial bed in singularity.
I require my beautiful blonde to bring me clarity.

Fuck it, I'm trying to say I miss you.

dearest,  girl.

Black Girl

Black Girl
Although your thick hair doesn't flow
It blooms like a flower as it grows
Black Girl
You are an exquisite being
Handcrafted by the likes of God
You were created with honey, brown sugar, chocolate and gold
You have a radiant aura and a beautiful soul
Black Girl
You are a Queen
Love the skin you're in
You are beautiful outside
As well as within
Black Girl
You rock
You are amazing in every single way
And don't forget that you were fearfully and wonderfully made

black,  girl.
