Golden

You think you're golden.

You're just a delicious lie wrapped in false promises.

And like the gratification of the taste,
Your pleasures are fickle and temporary.

You can fake the shine -
Polish the luster of your smile -
But any open eye can decipher what's real
And you're not.

You think you're golden
And you are.
Fool's gold always has value
As long as fools shall search.

Upon golden leaf - haiku

Upon golden leaf
A monarch butterfly lies
Her sweet memories

Golden Day

A hankering to be stung
My rib cage is the opening to the chapel doors
A beautiful blue corpse come hug me with your eyes
Willow branch teeth, dreaming the moon is soft
A rebirth of midnight a sourvenier to keep

day,  golden.

A golden shovel poem..

ЂњFirst it was her eyes
Then it was her smile”
-Passion? by Brandon Lee

She has experienced many a heartbreak, but he was first.
She should resent him for it,
For she constantly thinks about what life was
When it was ok for every thought to be of him and her.

She first fell for his eyes.
Everything was perfect back then.
When she looks back on it,
She remembers how strong the love was,
And how strong the pain was when he said goodbye to her.
But now that he's back she feels herself falling again for his smile.

Golden

And that's something i wouldn't say.
There's nothing right with us today.
You can't stay golden.
No, you can't stay golden.

You can't mean the same to me now as then.
You won't be the same now as then.

Not the same!
You change!
Nothing stays the same...

In the way you shake your head you say there is no rain today.
If there is, then it's needed.

And all the stars that shine will fade into the light of common day and lose what made them ours.

Golden

Hush my dear

Don't say a word

Silence has a bite

And actions are heard

A GOLDEN APRIL DAY

We can but marvel at
The seasons,
How they come and
Go,
The cold winter mornings,
The dazzling white snow.

The sparkle that was
Christmas,
A distant memory past,
The sudden glimpse of
Celandines
Proclaiming spring at
Last.

Slowly at first but
Surely
Come the welcome,
Lengthening days
Which hold a promise
Of approaching warmth,
In the strengthening
Sunshine's rays.

Lambs and foals and
Fledgling birds
All have their part to
Play,
In the glory of an
English spring
Found on a golden
April day.

Golden ages

A stripper a day
For a week used
To set one back
A whole quarter
