Poems about grace

№ 1207603

Throughout the existence of our earth, beauty
And logic have never been as one. I
Know that now because your beauty has no
Logic to it, and there is no beauty
In describing you logically. These
Functions and algorithms within me
Cannot process your astounding beauty
And I cannot take it for one more second.
Why isn't there a fathomable reason
For your infectious smile, those eyes of earth,
Or your face as it lights up entirely
When you see someone you love? No, my logic
Cannot solve why you are so beautiful
As you shine in that light
Which only I seem to see.

The light of grace

Your eyes shine so bright i swear you are the sun
The way you walk makes me think that you are a magical entity out to lure my hearts
It's just so easy to get intoxicated off of your sweet smell
I'd dare not lean in to kiss you for i know the consequences of falling in love
With the person who you could never be with

grace,  light.

Grace Word

Was there a word,
Plain or shimmering,
Cast of gold and mercy,
In the bathing light of forgiveness,
Tempered with down and feather,
Wrought of worthiness and pride,
The mellow flame of tenderness
And shearing morning sun,
One tabulation of saving flesh,
The tapping root of the knowledge
Tree, the forge of stainless metal
And touch, stone direction,
One healing humour, cardinal
As blood, forceful as the salt
Journey bearing the pines
Of lodestar coordinates,
Spotting the Xanadu ex
Of the lost lovers?

grace,  word.

Not the fate expected of a life so blessed by grace.

A man trained for perfection.
He must have seen the stain, that could have been so easily been erased.

I still hear the rumors of good intentions.
But it is the things he said, the life never lived, the choice he never made, the words he never said, the life he threw away.

A life of solid plans and indecision
A heart of gold.
But it does not matter.

No not the fate I expected of one so touched by grace.
Now there is the specter of uncertainty that I first endured, accepted and now embrace.

blessed,  expected,  fate,  grace,  life.

The new grace

They would have me believe
That for what I receive
I should be truly thankful,

I'll be thankful when
My tanks full
They can kiss my ass.

Saving Grace

You're my sunshine, my sweetness, my savior.
You're my favorite sound & my favorite flavor.
You are my resurrection place.
I am born again, at the sight of you face.

grace,  saving.

My Jesus, may Thy love alone,
Guide me in pilgrim way,
Let earthly charms for e'er be gone,
Be Thou my only stay.

Lord, purify my heart and mind,
That work of grace in me,
Teach me from day to day to find,
Thy matchless love so free,

Thy faithful Word gives life and light,
When Satan's darts assail,
Give me the needed inward might,
The joy that will prevail.

A lasting hope of Zion above,
My vision make Thou clear,
Oh! Holy Spirit gentle Dove,
Lead Thou me safely there.

Beneath Thy wings do shelter me,
My hiding place is there,
When night be gone the day I see,
My anchor is secure.

A crown of life awaits me there,
If faithful I shall be.
And those who bear the cross will share
Thy throne eternally.

grace,  work.

Moments of grace

My world falls apart with one word

As my world crumbles,
The Divine Lover whispers my name.
Three words are spoken into my heart,
And my heart sings even as I walk through the death of love.

grace,  moments.
