All Hail the Internet

All hail the internet!
The master of us all.
The one who watches day and night,
And guards the human thrall.

All hail the internet!
Our lives without are vain.
Throughout the day we worship you,
Without you life's mundane.

All hail the internet!
Your knowledge unconfined.
Forget the days of reading books,
That time is far behind.

All hail the internet!
We're now smarter and we're kind.
No one argues anymore,
About a dress they find.

Oh, forget the internet.
I can't do this anymore.
That place is twisted and corrupt.
I'd leave but there's no door.

hail,  internet.

Hail to the V

Soft skin pressed against soft skin pressed against rough memories/you know my love is tainted/he hangs me out to dry/ to see my blood run virginal and pure/softly, softly call my name/whisper how much you love me more than him/he hangs me out to dry/to see the tears run from my eyes/ soft baited breaths/ sing into my ear your praises/tell me how we can runaway/it's forbidden to love like this/run your soft hands through my wild hair/he hangs me out to dry/to see the tremors wrack my body/soft skin pressed against soft skin/soft lips against soft lips/soft touch against soft touch/softly, softly the heart beats/you know my love is tainted/your touch a reflection of mine/gentle and soothing/you a reflection of me/softly softly shallow my cries with your mouth/lay your forehead against mine/soft baited breaths/tell me how much you love me/

hail.

All hail poetry

All hail the paper
Cradle of a dreamy thought
We all crumple, we taper
For each poetic ambition fought

All hail the pen
The literary sword of might
Fed by ink, hopes of men
The metal downpour of the mind

All hail the silent poet
He screams his words to you
Squeezing out a tiny sonnet
From a vessel of binding glue

All hail Hello Poetry
Our loyal parchment friend
A fortress of antiquity
A castle to defend...

hail,  poetry.

All Hail the Lizard King

All hail the Lizard King,
Whose esoteric words crawl like sirens
Over hungry rocks
Baring teeth to the hypnotized sailor
Steering his ship into the jagged maw.

All hail the Lizard King,
Perched upon his Dionysian throne,
Ambrosial ecstasies fill his cup
While jongleurs dance to psychedelic chansons.

At his feet
Prey the nubile maidens of yore
Flower-eyed and pearly-teethed.

His eyes, mighty azure pools of madness
Within which Byzantine kings were murdered--
Blood darts through the mysterious waters
Into the hysterical white void.

Alexander the Great
Sits poised like a statue
Where his libido crouches like a panther
'til the aural adonis
Leaps from his confines
An amorous figure of tantalizing flesh and blood
With supple lips pouting, naked muscles taut,
Mad eyes gleaming.

All hail the Lizard King,
From lush lips poetic decrees
Sing forth into the endless night
Penetrating taverns and bedrooms and radios
And stadiums.

The electric shaman leaps from his throne
To cast his wicked incantation,
A spark from his eyes shoots to the pyre
Where a lustful blue flame erupts from
The bones of the prophets.

HIs voice soothing, haunting,
The sonic alchemist
Sings his siren song into the cataclysm
Where we are cast in abeyance--

We follow him,
But is he only leading us deeper
Into the darkness,
Or does he truly see the light?

The endless night.

All hail the Lizard King.

Hail Mary Our Mother

Hail Mary our Mother so gentle and true
For nine months you carried "God with Us" in you
Hail Mary our Mother so quiet and strong
Give us the courage to join you in song
Hail Mary our Mother free from sin and full of grace
Lead us to your son, help us see and recognize His face
Hail Mary our Mother of mercy and sorrow
Pray for us Mary in our todays and tomorrows
Hail Mary our Mother Holy Queen enthroned above
Teach us faith, and wisdom, teach us love
Hail Mary our Mother so tender and mild
Give us the vision to see with the eyes of a child
Hail Mary our Mother shining light, guiding star
Bring back your children wherever they are
Hail Mary our Mother pure and chaste
Quicken our hearts that we would make haste
Hail Mary our Mother look on us with compassion and favor
And one day lead us home to your son our Savior.

Amen

Hail in the Scrap Yard

No mad coffee shop
Emotions make time real be-
Tween jazz consciousness—
And the taste of sound howls for
Soul on city gas
Beaches that work naked like
Sex, like sleep; selling
Ev'ry beatnik book in some
Village.

Cats improvise god in barely-there clubs,
So cigarette smoke music can be cool forever.
The slide guitar, gutter trombones, the sax,
Drums beat into submission, and
That voice scatting softly but strong
Like hail in the scrap yard.

Be-bop skiddly bop do-wop skiddly bop.

Those lips crack off dryer barrels, blender bases,
Alarm clock cord plugs rapping on the dumpster.
Those teeth chew out heels on pavement, police
Tires on gravel driveways, the 8: 15 bus' hiss hydraulics.
That soul.
His soul.
Is just that.

hail,  scrap,  yard.

Hail Mary

Forgive me.
Set me free,
Pray for me.
Hail Mary,
I'm on my knees,
Accept my pleas
Death is free,

hail,  mary.

Hail, oh, Builder of Storms

You take your throne as winter comes,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Secrets rest as the Dead rise up,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
We the Lost who few can see,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
We hear your call of winter winds,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
A fire lit that once was cold,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
On winter winds you find your own,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The year grows nigh as time does stop,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The time has come for cold Misrule,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The Gates of Life and Gates of Death,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Flutter open to part the Veil,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Speak to me, oh cold Cold One,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Whom once rode forth all teeth and eyes,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Your time has come, the dice are cast,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Coils of ice and coils of snow,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The Serpent form among the trees,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The moving sway of Serpent hips,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The Ice Queen sits as Hallow's Eve,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Finds its way to All Hallow's,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The Regent sits high in the North,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And know her time has come again,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Hail to you Keeper of the Lost,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Hail to you who brings the tears,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The pale Blue Flame of Winter's Night,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
We know your face and Serpent's Tongue,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The cold Black Altar in the Hall of Stone,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The Cutter there before the Black Gates,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Her Black Knife raised to cut the threads,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And Death's wings spread beside the Gates,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
To guide the Living and the Dead,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
For now the Veil is open wide,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The Gates are open and swing both ways,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The Mighty Dead we praise tonight,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The Blessed Dead we call your names,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The pulsing call of Bloodline blood,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The pulsing call of Loreline blood,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The pulsing call of Fateline blood,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Blood does call, it calls to Blood,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Bones do wake and speak once more,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Memory sleeps in sleeping Bones,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And Blood awakens the sleeping Bones,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And quickens now what once was dead,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
On altar top and in the Halls,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
We call you now to come to us,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
To breathe again the breath we breathe,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And speak this night and speak again,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And as the Darkness now recedes,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
The Darkling Twin awaits the Bright,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Misrule reigns and all is Г–Г°,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Г–Г° and odd, and Wyrd and weird,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And may the Hunt now pass us by,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Or may we ride the frightful ride,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
By Winter's Night and crossroad light,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And ghost roads stretch into the night,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And troll roads strange and faerie roads,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
That lead out there between the worlds,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Guide our way with lantern bright,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
We are the Lost, you children tonight,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Toss your dice for us just right,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
And may the year we now head to,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
Find the dreams the Dreamer dreamed,
Hail, oh, Builder of Storms,
This year manifest this next.
