Flow so easily
To my mind
Like a river
Quite devine

How Love Poems Are Written

They always come in spurts,
Intimate thoughts & feelings
Rising to the surface,
Emotions spilling out
Into contrived words
Of true love
And angst
For eternity.
And it hurts.

love,  poems,  written.

Late Night Poems Part 2

I lay awake,
Feeling fake.
I lie to my friends,
Saying I'm happy till the end.
I'm happy I'm fine I'm okay,
But really I wanna cry and fade away.
Cry and cry till I can't no more,
And I feel like I'm a bore.
Feelings aren't cheep,
And now I want to sleep.

late,  night,  poems.

The Best Poems

The best poems are those poems
That evoke much meaning
From few words.

The Best Poems, Revisited

The best poems are those poems
That evoke much meaning
From few words...

Unless one is getting paid by the word,
Then you expand on your theme to include
As much as possible-possibly even the kitchen
Sink-in order to maximize the profitability of your poem,
Filling the space.

But if you are in it for the sheer pleasure of watching the words
Form on the paper as you write,
And for the images and emotions-especially the images and
Emotions-that are not written or remain unspoken, you stop. You read.
Feeling the space.

best,  poems.

Sad Poems

In this day and time,
Sad poems are everywhere.
Maybe that is why,
Young people think its 'cool'
To harm oneself or drink away the pain.
Maybe this is why,
Happy poems are so hard to find.
Maybe this is why,
Anytime I look for poems
I get put into my feels,
And it's so hard to get out of that hole.
My solution:
Lets make a challenge,
Because everyone loves challenges.
My challenge is to Make more happy poems.

poems,  sad.

I only write poems when I feel sad

There I am,
Staring at the snowy television,
Thinking about what was said.

I met a girl in my dreams,
Her name was Clyda,
And she stood under the cotton candy skies,
And told me that I mattered.

She gave me a cigarette,
Which even in my dreams,
I can't stay away from,
And pointed at the caps on the
Mountains that framed the horizon.

I'm really not that sad,
Nothing's happened to me,
To make me feel this way.

But I guess the worst type of war,
Is the one that creates terror,
On it's own frontlines.

feel,  poems,  sad,  write.

A Novel Of Poems.

Yet with no other doubt
You look further
Till you are down and out
But to see the same order.

Time will resemble
History and future,
The same preamble
The same feature.

Time with his hyperboles,
His everlasting soon
His walls and holes,
His appetite to tune.

Time takes a long time
A novel to understand,
A story to rhythm and to rhyme
A poem to contend.

Time is the now
Time will last
And if you ask how
You will be passed.

Two poems

Second Mouth
Other-lips whispering between my legs.
What they called black hole not-thing
Is really packed full of secrets. A rebel mouth. . .

It Was the Animals
Today my brother brought over a piece of the ark
Wrapped in a white plastic grocery bag.
. . .
