Rain came today Pounding on my house Running down my street Like a manic Going wild Darkness everywhere Seemed like it would never leave Changing my mood into the blues Which doesn't take much My face changes deep inside Every mood
Especially when the rain comes to visit All is damp and cold Leaving a chill through my bones Rain are the tears from the sky Where the earth and sky meet In tears flowing through the grass
Bringing a coldness Wet and damp Trying to cleanse the earth of all the pollution.

Lovers In The Rain
Rain tap tapping Upon the pink spotted umbrella Beneath which we stand On this dreary day. The rain creates a melody Of translucent color, Similar to your whispering Voice in the nighttime.
Sharing the umbrella, we stand Closer to each other than normal, Almost huddled together, keeping Each other warm. Step, tap. Just a little closer you Step over to me, and smile. That idiotic smile of yours. It makes me go wild.
I think Rain is the weary humanitarian. She's the voice of reason, drowning the world in throbbing anger with watercolours, smudging pavement and hesitant minds. Not tears, or sympathy, she's yelling for us in pristine drops of impatience. Wake up! What are you doing?! She whispers so loud, she'll tear us apart, ground swollen with her heartfelt anger. She hates us, really. She'll erase us away, no laugh on her lips. Just the rat-a-tat of old typewriter keys and maleficent moisture.
