Ready or not
You weren't ready for a relationship
So i waited
And waited
Until you were
But by that time You had found another
So maybe you just weren't ready For me

I Am Ready
Whatever the day brings, I Am Ready. What ever the experience, I Am Ready. What ever and where ever the Adventure leads, I Am Ready... I Am Ready.
There are those days when you feel like... "What the hell! " but we breathe, take a step and keep moving, We are Ready. The feeling come over us and we might feel like we don't know which way to good, just think; I Am Ready. Ready for what comes my way... not saying it something I want. Lawd knows, it wasn't plan. Ha, there are times I want to run the other way. But I, take a moment to breathe and I know I Am Ready. Today, I Am Ready for the day, the experiences, the adventures, the Love, Joy, Happiness and all the Laughs. There maybe be a tear, confuse, anger, sadness but I Am Ready. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I Am Ready for what is place before me in this moment to moment journey. Oh, and if I'm Ready... You are too. We just have to make the choice to face it, feel it, work with it and let it all go back into the flow and be Ready for the next... moment by moment, step by step. Sooooooo, climb on, buckle up, shake it out and... I would say get ready but guess what: You are Ready... always... just go with it, it is a good ride! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Ready to be broken
I need a hand to touch me To shatter all my bones And show me I'm still living Fragile, frigid, locked in stone All I was or what I was meant to be Was petrified into irrelevancy.
I need a chisel to strike And change my fate And open up my soul To let out the mistakes I need someone stronger to open my eyes Only then can I start to rewind
I need the cracks to form Around my body's edges Then I'll be free To tackle my own ledges Make choice for myself and me alone I wanna be more than a standing stone.
And I'm ready now to break myself in And I'm steady now to stretch my new skin Still I'm blacking out, the air's growing thin But I'm just ready to be broken.

You Are Not Ready
I lay in a tub of bubbles thinking of your soft voice and gentle smile. I feel your hand wrap around mine as we walk down the street. I see our reflection in the shop windows. We seem comfortable. The shop owner mistakes us for husband and wife and we don't correct him. But somehow, you are not ready.
We spend a lazy day doing errands and paying bills. You leave me in the car as you run in to book a moving truck, Me ready to move the vehicle if we get scolded. We are at easy and enjoying the day. You tell me things you have not told anyone. But somehow, you are not ready.
I beam as you approach the house, happy to see you. You kiss me tenderly when we meet and again because the first one felt so good. You give me a special gift when you didn't really need to. It is beautiful and suits me just like you knew it would. You are tired and I understand you need to sleep. No, you are not ready.
We talk for many hours about many things. You do not want to tell all so I do not push. I want to support you and let you know you can talk to me. You need to talk to someone. This is a hard time for you. I know you are not ready.
We get closer, too close. Closer than we both intended. We know this may be a mistake but we are taken up in the moment. You are strong but I lead you. You pull back and I let you. No, you are not ready.
You want this to be different. We both want this to be special. It would be nice if it could be. We would both be happy, perhaps. One day you will be ready. But right now you are not ready. I hope I am there when you are.

I'm ready
I'm ready to plummet, Feel the wind rush through my hair. Whistle in my ears, Escape my lungs. I'm ready to dive, Into the depths of something. Leap into the world, Pounce upon life's journey. I'm ready to fall, Into her arms, In hopes she is there to catch me.

Feeling Ready
I'm scared, my nerves are shot, This is the one chance, the last chance I've got. I know I have to do this right But I'm scared that by tonight I would've failed and be left to rot.
I'm scared, really I am, And I'm not sure i can, But i must go on and fight and win And then at the end begin Again and fight when I would've ran.

Depressed, Alone and Ready To Die
We just kept getting worse and nothing really helped. Maybe, just maybe we were meant to be like this, Depressed, alone and ready to die.

Ready...
The rolling hills of silent loneliness, The pure white light of godliness. The whispering stream of love to be, The endless fields of joy and glee. The night sky filled with lulling dreams, The summer day is not all it seems.
The candle light of relaxation, The Northern star that gives direction. The winds of change whirl and blow, The candles light a dimming glow. The wind's a gust the light goes out, The heart of fear too scared to shout.
Alone in the dark I thought I would stay, The heart the wind the summer's day. The tickle of a tear caresses my cheek, I can no longer hear my inner voices speak. But in the hills an echo of a whisper, Why should I remain so bitter.
As time goes on so will I, To live and learn and even cry. With faith by my side I will take the leap, I will no longer be the mindless sheep.
