Sleep paralysis

I fear every night,
That the memory of you,
Would enter my room
And sit beside my sleeping form.

Except that i can't be able to move,
Numb as you kiss me slowly.
Drawing breath from my lungs,
I, glued in a helpless position.

And when you're done,
The tears streak my cheeks
At the sight of you
Sliding away from me, walking up.

Oh- i hate this beautiful nightmare
Of having to watch you leave in the end.
But then again, this dream
Is the only way to see you again.

And it's truly a shame,
How i could never run after you,
Just like in real life,
Paralyzed in place.

Sleep against my thigh.

Sleep against my thigh
My skin is made of steel
So you melt the edges
With your breath,
Draw figures in the grey
Like windows in the cold,
You huff, puff and the frost
Is gone, your hands burn
Imprints on my waist and
Crack my hips that are made
Of glass, a fracture line that
Carries up my chest, an
Earthquake that shifts
Through my bones, that
Haunts me when you're not
At home, so come home,
Come home,

Come home.

Smokes into sleep

Billows abound,
Cloud, caress her figure.
I kissed the top of her head,
Hit the lights,
Slowly shut the door,
Turned on some music,
And left my mind to wander.

Did she hear her favorite sonata?
Did she hear me fumbling my keys?
Did she hear me step outside?

Sirens exalted the moon,
Christmas decorations fell,
There were only two lit apartments,
I came back inside after retrieving my studies,
I poured another cup, lit my pipe and
Let the smoke lull over the bulb.

Has she fallen asleep?
Does she wait for me?
Can she hear each keystroke?

The night moves glacially,
Beautifully,
And with just enough ache
To keep me awake and entirely in love.

Sleep

I have hope and trust,
In the Magnificent.
That I will no longer,
Fall ill at night.

I have begged,
Like His little child.
In constant need
Of His help.

When I grow tired,
I will shut my eyes,
And by His grace,
Sleep will be upon me.
Peaceful, Carefree, Weightless,
Sleep.

I Need More Sleep

I need more sleep
But I need more you
How can I choose
When both are as real
As they are true,
If I must sleep
Then I shall dream,
Dream of you

Sleep Well, Young Child

Sleep well young child
Let the weary's of the day slip away.
Sleep well young child
Please Do Not be Afraid.
Sleep well young child
There is no need to fear
Sleep well young child
The nightmares will soon disappear
Sleep well young child
You will soon have pleasant dreams
Sleep well young child
I will protect you from bad dreams.
Sleep well young child
Become who you can dream yourself to be
Sleep well young child
Travel to the wonders as far as the eyes can see.
Sleep well young child
Rest and drift your worries away
Sleep well young child
I wish you good night and wish you fortune on the new day!

When you sleep ...

I miss you at the
Times where you go
To sleep. It leaves me
Waiting for you with a
Deep ache that i cannot
Keep. It grows as the
Hours pass by slow like
Morning dew on wilted
Flower petals. Causing
Me to write you the words
Of i miss you at the times
That you fall asleep. And
Asking you to kiss me a
Poem when you wake up
I promise whatever you
Tell me I will forever keep*

I MISS YOU WHEN YOU SLEEP

I feel lonely
When you sleep.

I find myself walking
And pacing,
Plagued by thoughts
And worries and
Feelings of doom.

Wired yet empty,
As if some part of me
Is missing or
Ripped away.

Where did it go?
When will it be back?

Displaced, I am
Obliged to search within
The trunk of memories
In my mind
And pick out a few
Memories of you,
Of us,
Dust them off
And play them like
Snippets of favorite
Movies

And for a little while
I can ignore the flood
Of tearful melancholia
That creeps and stalks,
Just waiting to drown me.

For a little while
I can think of you,
Our silly laughs and giggles
And mutual goofiness...

And for that little while
I can smile.
