Inner Strength

A flower bending
In the wind doesn't actually
Yield, though it seems so

inner,  strength.

Softness Is A Strength

Her fingers caressed the ivories
So very lightly.
The tunes that played
Echoing sweetly.

Nuvole Bianche,
Ludovico Einaudi
The title, she said,
Means white clouds.

To her,
This song
Captures the feeling of utmost sincerity
That exist in the purest
Of her heart.

To be able to stay soft,
Even after passing through cruel hands of the world.

To be as kind as you can,
Even if the world will not pay you back.

To go out of your way for others,
Even if it will never be enough.

To be genuine until the very end,
Even when the whole world is against you.

To be soft in this cruel world
Might just be the strongest power
A human can possibly possess.

softness,  strength.

Strength in the Word

There is strength in the word.
My strength is made perfect in my weakness;
As long as I stay focused on Him.
His grace is all encompassing
And it covers me,
Like a blanket fresh out of the dryer
On a cold chilly night.
His spirit soothes like balm on a fresh cut;
Even though it still hurts,
You know it will get better.
His word is full of promise and direction.
And as long as His word is in me,
He guides my path and gives me hope.

A Crack Of Strength

One Crack,
One seem and everything crumbles,
Behind the crack everything has fallen,
Pieces are collapsing,
Soon something sturdy will be dust,
Something that kept you safe will hurt you,
Things fall apart,
Life leaves only the dust,
Reminders of the losses are everywhere,
The world won't let you forget,
You must carry the pain,
And you must let strength find you,
One day after the cracks have crumbled
And the safety has faded
You will find strength

Or it will find you.

crack,  strength.

From now on
There are no more excuses for you
Not to become something great.
No more hesitation,
No more self-deception
And no more hiding from yourself.
If you can't place trust within an oath to yourself,
Then you are obsolete.
It may seem like wrestling a bear.
But the instant the kodiak lies slain at your feet,
Armed with nothing but your bare hands.
You'll know true metamorphosis,
True rebirth,
True strength
True power.
Grow strong,
Or die with your face against the asphalt.
Fighters, fight.
I am Fenrir.
Born to destroy.
Give me darkness.
Give me that real sleep,
Under blanket of oblivion.

Repressive Strength

Into the night, the quiet, still, and cold
Treading this ground is a task for the bold
Ancient whispers still linger at the edge of the light
Calming your fear and hiding fright

Mistakes lead you now to the middle of the wood
Empty promises haunting while intentions were good
Swallowed by darkness and consumed by fear
Demons are calling and wooing your ear

Alone in the blackness you follow them down
Past a grave and a cross to a hole in the ground
From this hole comes a stench, bloody and foul
Thoughts of transgression ingored until now

Your body goes stiff for a second or two
All emotions have left you, all except two
Unable to run from these demons you dread
As the fight continues inside of your head

Screaming and shouting there seems like no end
Where is God, when the devil claims he is your friend?
All you can do now is turn to the light
Push back the fear to wage war on the night

Swallowing curtains of pain and dispair
As the moon shines above with its luminous glare
You take all your burdens and force them to flee
The battle now ending, you set yourself free.

A light starts to flicker in the dead of the night
A beacon to those enduring their fight
Drenched in sweat from your brow to your cheek
Bearing strength as a man who once was weak

True Strength

I am Strong

Because I have loved you for this long

Because I can stand seeing you with another

Because I survived all these days without being with you

Because I still loved you even though you won't love me back

Because I went through all this pain without you even knowing

Because I wrote my heart out, breaking it over and over again

Because I looked into your eyes and fooled myself with false hope

Because I've had nightmares of you, believing they were dreams

And because I Love You

Yes, I am Strong...

... j ust not Strong enough to tell you

*I Love You

strength,  true.
