Poems about watched

We planted a seed of love and watched it wither and die

He loves me,
He loves me not,
He loves me,
He loves me not.
Petals fall
As do my tears
I know he does not love me
So why am i still
Destroying flowers?

die,  love,  planted,  seed,  watched,  wither.

Watched the beauty watch the fire and the fire burn beauty in your eyes

My heart was beating as i sat and imagined you reading the letter i'd written while i was away, a four page summary of three words that i just couldn't say. i wondered if you wished that i would return, a little older and a little wiser from all that i'd learned. i wondered if you wished that i would stay. i sit, admiring the city lights. it was one of those days, it's turning into one of those nights and i'm wondering if i could come home, do you think that'd be alright? the last words we said are running through my head, "know that i never meant to hurt you", "you may not mean it my dear, but you do". after that, i fled the scene and ever since those words have haunted my dreams. as i lay myself down to sleep, i have no soul for the lord to keep. i left it with you long ago and if i'll ever get it back i'll never know.

beauty,  burn,  eyes,  fire,  watch,  watched.

I have a feeling that
I've been watched
Every move
Every step I took
When I click on
A mail or fancy link
When I swipe my cards
At shopping malls
When I choose
What I think is,
What I want

They follow me...
Discreetly Stalk me
Chase every where I roam
They know my choices
Better than the spouse
Suggest me things
That I never dreamt of
They plow seeds of needs...
And water my lame greed

Have you fallen pray
To Such divine mock
Or do you not know yet
That You are the pray
They wish to lure for bucks

She watched

She watched curlicues of sweeping clouds, and
Loved how they painted the sky like van Gogh
The Line of smudged charcoal smoke severed the
(sky) blue bodies apart.
When The wind stroked her face.
It was cold and woke her up.
Spilled Synapse after synapse
 onto Dream after dream.
 the surface of the sun,
when it was almost, but not quite,
 drowned by the sea
= the most visible feeling she had seen.

Noga watched
The other girls play.

Skip rope or
Or groups
In idle chatter.

She was left out,
An outsider,
She said
It didn't matter,
But deep down
It did.

The others
Had new dresses
And shoes,
Their hair shone
With the washing
Each day,
Spoke about her
As she went by
Their way.

The boys preferred
The pretty girls,
The ones who shone
Or outshone her
Or who promised
Them more
As they giggled
And swooned
And swayed their hips
Or pushed out
Their tingling tits.

Their parents
Picked them up
In posh cars;
She walked
The long trek
On worn-out shoes;
Their parents spoke
With clipped voices
And la-de-da tones;
Hers spoke
Or shouted
Or pushed out
Groans or swore;
Blamed her bruises
On arms or legs
On the usual door,
To those who cared
Or casually stared.

Noga watched the girls
Kissing boys,
Saw their lips meet,
Their hands in play,
But no boy kissed her,
No lips met hers,
No hands in play
Sought to touch
Her skin.

She only had
Pretend romance
Or maybe dreams
Of shining knights
On big white horses,
No real love,
Like other girls
With their
Hot lip kisses
Or overt sex
And intercourses.

Watched ash fall from her cigarette.

Always loved fire,
Daddy the matchstick, Mommy?
She was the pyre.

"Vanity Hits (Watched Me)"

By Arcassin Burnham

You've never known the devil dancing in the moon light,
Until vanity hits you in the face with a sack of fruit,
You've watched me my whole life,
Now it's my turn to watch you,
Situations and different places,
I have no idea how I got there,
Ah! Man here comes the coppers, that's my cue,
You've watched me my whole life,
Now it's my turn to watch you,
Standing ovations to a life of purposeless conflicts,
Wouldn't wanna be in my shoes,
I'd rather you be you,
You've watched me my whole life,
Now it's time I believe in you.

hits,  vanity,  watched.

I listened to her cry, i watched her break, something snapped in me, there is no mistake

I had no idea how difficult that would be.
Now i wonder what is illuminated by that difficulty?
What does that mean that my heart has become?
Beyond my power, something extraordinary, and something scary has been done.
But, i trust you God, I will not run.

break,  cry,  listened,  mistake,  snapped,  watched.
